There is a lot of misleading information online, but generally, you cannot actually “fix” or “repair” a credit report. The name in itself is misleading, as it implies to the consumer that somebody can take over their credit report and somehow “fix it” or “repair it.” That’s not normally what happens, but that’s the perception that the term gives.
